Planned Giving/Gift Aid
Supporting parish operations
Planned Giving and Gift Aid are two options for offering financial support for a charitable organisation. Planned giving is the pledge to donate a specific amount over a period of time (for example £5/week), whilst gift aid extends planned giving by contributing an extra 25p for every pound directly from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) at no extra cost to the donor.
To become a planned giver all you need to do is speak to the financial secretary or parish priest to arrange a set of planned giving envelopes.
To contribute via Gift Aid you will need to be a UK taxpayer. Speak to the financial secretary or parish priest who will arrange planned giving envelopes for you and give you a Gift Aid form to complete so we can claim the extra 25p per pound direct from HMRC.
